Bontnewydd Football Club was set up to give local children the opportunity to play football, this is still our aim today Bontnewydd Football club welcomes any child from the village and the surrounding area which wishes to join the club.
Club Draw
The Club 100 – This club’s monthly draw Clwb 100 funds the activities of all the club’s teams, from the under 7 team up to the first team. A big thank you to everyone who is already supporting. There are still numbers available.
If you would like to support the club, please get in tough to get a number, £5 per month via direct debit or standing order
First Prize £150 – Second Prize £50 draw every month.

Bontnewydd Football Club
The club has gone from strength to strength the 1st team at present sitting at the top of the league and the reserve team getting better season on season. The reserve team was set up in order to fill the gap between the 1st team and junior football it gives anyone over the age of 16 an opportunity to better their skill get used to playing senior football, many of the reserve team ex-players are now regular 1st team players
The club is run by volunteers, the income generated by the club all goes back to the club, we would like to sincerely thank all of
our sponsors for their support without them the club would not survive, the club also runs a Black Ball draw every week and clwb cant every month.

Under 17's Success
Playing for Bontnewydd when he was younger is The Cofi Messi, Darren Thomas, since leaving Darren has been playing at the highest level of football in Wales with Caernarfon Town.
By having a team in nearly all age groups, Bontnewydd is a local team and work closely with the local community. We encourage all age groups to be involved with the football club.
The reserves team play in the NWCFA Development League and a majority of the squad are under 18. A lot of these young players are given the opportunity to play for the 1st team, last year the 1st team fielded one of their youngest teams.
